1. Date/Flight changes

A one-time date/flight change (can be round-trip), free of penalty provided all other regulations are honored (maximum, seasonality, etc.). Changes apply subject to cabin availability (*) if passengers rebook the complete journey no later than 60 days from original travel dates.

Requests to reschedule flights more than 60 days from the original flight or on the following dates (inbound/outbound), are subject to class availability (**) and ticket validity:

December: 23rd and 30th

January: from 1st to 10th; 13th and 27th

February: from 2nd to 7th

2. Route change (new destination)

As an exception, passengers on these flights that decide to travel by their own means to another nearby airport in Chile to board from that point to/from SCL, may request involuntary Rerouting thru LAN (travel agents may not process this type of reissue).

Other route changes apply free of penalty but subject to applicable fare differences.

Agents may reissue tickets without a waiver request provided that a standard message is entered in an SSR CKIN and Endorsement/restriction box of the ticket:

(*) Change subject to cabin availability involves: if space is available in the original cabin of the flight requested, the agent may request the original fare class to his/her LAN Sales Support Executive to complete reissue. Reissue using another class of service is subject to debit memos.

(**) Change subject to class availability involves: changes are subject to class availability of the original class of service available thru the distribution systems or payment of fare differences.

3. Refunds

Refunds are subject to fare regulations. Except for passengers on cancelled flights with tickets issued in Europe, USA, AR, BR, CA, CL, CO, EC, AU and NZ, who may apply for ticket or flight coupons refund without penalty due to legal provisions in these countries. In these cases, agents may directly process the refund stating: INVOL REF DUE TO PUYEHUE ASH FLT (LAxxx/date/route) CNLD

Passengers affected with international connections in SCL are eligible for the same exceptions mentioned before.

4. Use of coupons in a different ticketing order:

Passengers with flights canceled on domestic routes in Chile, will be authorized to use coupons in a correlative order, for example a TKT with the route SCL ZOS ZAL BBA SCL, may fly ZOS ZAL BBA SCL. Tickets issued in Europe, USA, CA, CL, BR, AU and NZ are eligible for refund free of penalty for the sectors canceled, tickets issued in other countries are subject to refund according to fare regulation.
