LAN announces to their travel partners that due to an Air Traffic Controller’s strike announced in Peru between December 25th and 29th, LAN will offer options to passengers affected traveling between these dates one of the following options:

- Passengers that arrive late at their airports and misses his/her flight may be accepted as stand-by subject to availability on the next flight available. At the same time they may opt to INVOLUNTARY RERORUTE from/to nearby cities (procedures only applicable at airports).

- One date/flight change free of penalty, subject to cabin availability for online flights as follow:

Flights: From December 22nd to 25th noon, 2011

To fly no later than: Tuesday January 15th, 2012

If interline flights are included in passengers itinerary, the change for those sectors must be booked in the original booking class (**). Changes for later dates apply according to all fare regulation.

- One route change applies as FOP reissue, free of penalty and subject to applicable fare differences; except for those passengers that decide to travel to nearby airports, where reissue applies as historic reissue, subject to applicable fare differences and free of penalty.

(*) Change subject to cabin availability involves: if space is available in the original cabin of the flight requested, the agent may request the original fare class to his/her LAN Sales Support Executive to complete reissue. Reissue using another class of service is subject to debit memos.

(**) Change subject to class availability involves: changes are subject to class availability of the original class of service available thru the distribution systems or payment of fare differences.

Agents may process changes for their passengers without a waiver request provided that a standard message is entered thru an SSR CKIN and in the Endorsement/Restriction box of the ticket:

Refunds

Refunds are subject to fare regulations. Except for passengers on cancelled flights with tickets issued in Europe, USA, AR, CO, EC, CA, CL, BR, AU and NZ, who may apply for ticket or flight coupons refund without penalty due to legal provisions in these countries. In these cases, agents may directly process the refund stating: INVOL REF DUE TO STRIKE CONTROLERS/DATE
