LAN - La parziale chiusura della pista dell'aeroporto di Juliaca č stata estesa

We inform all our travel agents that until April 25th, Juliaca Airport has been partially closed due to repair works in the runway (on February 23rd and April 25th the airport will be totally closed). As a result, LAN Peru has adjusted their operation from/to this destination.
Despite being an external situation, LAN will offer alternatives to passengers on the following flights affected:
I. Passengers on affected flights LA2115; LA2111; LA2096; LA2097 (LA2100 between February 24 and April 24 included) may request one of the following options:
I.1. Date/flight changes (*)
- Passengers may be protected within 24 hours of the flight affected subject to cabin (a) availability. If there is no availability within 24 hours, passengers may be protected in the next flight available subject to cabin availability.
Passengers affected may also apply to an INVOL RERTE to/from AQP that must be processed thru LAN. (ground transportation must be on passenger expenses)
- If the protection given is not suitable for the passenger, a flight/date change may apply subject to class (b) availability and free of penalty (regarding the fare regulation) provided that travel is no later than 30 days from the flight affected (inbound / outbound) and the rest of fare regulation is honored (maximum, seasonality, etc.).
(*) Passengers holding a 100% Peru domestic route may request reissue to a LAN MCO if they cannot decide the new travel date.
(a) Change subject to cabin availability involves: if space is available in the original cabin of the flight requested, the agent may request the original fare class to his/her LAN Sales Support Executive to complete reissue. Reissue using another class of service is subject to debit memos.
(b) Change subject to class availability involves: changes are subject to class availability of the original class of service available thru the distribution systems or payment of fare differences.
I.2. Route changes (**)
- One-time route change, free of penalty (regardless the penalty rule) and subject to fare differences provided that reissue in processed no later than 30 days from original travel date.
(**) Only passengers holding a 100% domestic PE route may apply to name change.
Travel agents should process reissue without a waiver request and entering a SSR CKIN in the PNR and in the Endorsement/Restriction box of the ticket:

I.3. Refunds:
It applies subject to fare regulation. As exception passengers on flights affected with tickets issued in Europe, USA, CA, CL, BR, AU, NZ, CO, EC and AR who are eligible for involuntary refund of the ticket or flight coupons due to legal provisions in those countries.
I.4. Others:
Hotel accommodation and other expenses are not covered.
II. Passengers affected on LA2100 until February 22nd are eligible for the contingency procedure under LAN responsibility due to an error in the schedule times loaded in systems.
- One-time flight /date change free of penalty, subject to cabin availability on LAN flights and subject to class availability for interline flights. The rest of fare regulation should be complied.
- Change of destination without penalty, subject to fare differences and LAN reissue policy.
- Refund: Passengers declining the options provided may apply to refund of the ticket free of penalty; this applies to either used or partially used tickets.
