We inform all our Travel Agent contacts that starting July 6, 2010 our operation between Santiago, Buenos Aires (AEP, EZE) and Cordoba will be subject to changes. As a result, the bookings will be modified according to the following:

• In an aim to update tickets and reservations, we request our agents to contact passengers directly. To do this process, the agents may reissue their tickets without requesting the ‘Change due to protection’ waiver provided that:

1. Their reservations have cancelled flights for the sectors mentioned above and trips between July 7 and 31st, 2010
2. The reissue is done as historical reissue free of penalty using the protection given by LAN in the PNR.
3. Passengers with international connections will be protected by LAN on alternative flights thru the PNR.
4. The reissue free of penalty will apply for all tickets regardless the ‘no changes permitted’ fare rule.

In all cases an SSR CKIN should state the protection given and the details of the flight affected. Example: PSGR PROT IN LA433/10JUL/SCLEZE DUE TO CNL LA4631/10JUL/SCLAEP

In the Endorsement/Restrictions box: CHG WAIVED PSGR PROT/flight/date/route (flight protection)

Any other change outside of the above should be evaluated by the LAN Sales Support Executive who will review the request and determine if the entry of a "change due to protection" waiver is applicable, according to the LAN provisions regarding involuntary itinerary changes.
