Eccezioni per i passeggeri coinvolti dalle cattive condizioni meteo a San Pedro de Atacama

We inform our travel agents that as a result of the heavy rains in San Pedro de Atacama, LAN will offer to passengers the option to change their travel plans according to the following:
Passengers with ticketed reservations from/to CJC with flights until March 15, 2012 are eligible to the CONTINGENCIES DUE TO MAJOR EVENTS policy provided that they request changes or refund no later than February 20, 2012:
One-time Date/flight change
One date/flight change is allowed free of penalty (may be a round trip) provided all other regulations are observed (maximum, seasonality, etc.), Changes apply subject to cabin availability (*) provided that passengers rebook the complete journey no later than 30 days from the date of passenger request. Requests to reschedule flights beyond 30 days (outbound and/or inbound), are subject to class availability (**) and ticket validity.
(*) Change subject to cabin availability involves: if space is available in the original cabin of the flight requested, the agent may request the original fare class to his/her LAN Sales Support Executive to complete reissue. Reissue using another class of service is subject to debit memos.
(**) Change subject to class availability involves: changes are subject to class availability of the original class of service available thru the distribution systems or payment of fare differences.
One-time Route Change (reissue)
Reissuance is to comply with the current procedure, without penalties, by applying the corresponding fare differentials, if applicable, irrespective that the fare regulation does not permit any changes.
Agents may process changes for their passengers without a waiver request provided that a standard message is entered thru an SSR CKIN and in the Endorsement/Restriction box of the ticket: INVOL CHG DUE TO WEATHER IN SAN PEDRO ATACAMA/date
As an exception for these contingency, passengers may request refund free of penalty and regardless fare regulation provided that the ticket is valid (for partially used tickets the amount to be refunded will be proportional the coupons that remain unused). Agents should process the refund directly stating: REF DUE TO DUE WEATHER IN SAN PEDRO ATACAMA
Passengers that have previously request any of the previous options are not eligible for refund.
